Australian Association of Stomal Therapy Nurses & Asia Pacific Enterostomal Therapy Nurses Association

The Perth committee and the National Executive of the Australian Association of Stomal Therapy Nurses look forward to welcoming you to the 43rd AASTN & 10th APETNA (Asian Pacific Enterostomal Therapy Nurses Association) Conference. To be held in Fremantle, Western Australia, from the 13 – 16 April 2023, the conference will provide opportunities for our Asia Pacific Ostomy, Wound and Continence nurses to come together with our Australian and New Zealand colleagues to network and learn best practices from international leaders in the field.

Just 30 minutes from Perth City, Fremantle has long been renowned for its eclectic mix of arty and alternative types. The streets buzz with the song of buskers, the sidewalks fill with a wild collection of art and the music that floats out from trendy cafés and bars.

Outside Fremantle’s city centre you’ll find gorgeous beaches, walking and bicycle trails meandering along the sparkling waters of the coast and the river’s edge. South Fremantle with its calm beaches and restaurants has emerged as a vital part of the Fremantle experience and in East Fremantle you’ll find river walks, parks and restaurants. Leighton Beach and Port Beach are famous for their long stretches of white sand and beachside cafés while North Fremantle is a haven for cafés, restaurants and live music bars.

We look forward to seeing you there!
